May include:
- Review of the IEP, evaluation reports, progress reports, and related records
- Analysis of goals, services, accommodations, and supports
- Identification of areas needing clarification, revision, or stronger alignment
- Written or verbal feedback regarding concerns and recommendations
- Strategic guidance to help families prepare for future meetings

IEP Meeting Support and Attendance

IEP meeting support is designed for families who want preparation before a meeting and advocacy support during the meeting itself.
May include:
- Pre-meeting consultation and planning
- Review of relevant documents before the meeting
- Development of key discussion points and priorities
- Attendance at the IEP meeting as an advocate and support person
- Follow-up support to review decisions, action items, and next steps

Intensive Support

Intensive support is available for families navigating more complex or high-conflict situations involving disagreements with the school team. While EdVocate Consulting does not provide legal representation, this service helps families organize concerns, strengthen communication, and prepare for more formal dispute resolution processes.
May include:
- In-depth consultation regarding disputed issues
- Comprehensive review of records, communications, and documentation
- Identification of concerns related to services, supports, or implementation
- Development of a structured advocacy strategy
- Preparation for facilitated meetings, mediation, or other dispute-related processes
- Ongoing support across multiple interactions and decision points
